Dear Parents, I want to inform you about a small fire that occurred on our playground this morning near one of the pieces of equipment. Our staff was able to quickly extinguish the flames before a fire crew arrived. Thankfully, no students were harmed. The fire department ensured the fire was completely out and the area was safe. Meantime, the small area will be blocked off while we continue looking into the cause. We will keep you updated as we learn more. Please know that the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding and support. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me at pam.dial@lrsd.org or 501-446-5502. Sincerely, Pam Dial

The “longest roll call” raises awareness for the 15 million U.S. students chronically absent (missing 10% or more of the school year). We're working to connect students to resources needed to show up to school ready to learn. https://vimeo.com/1012558915 #BeingPresentMatters
