Discover Mental Wellbeing! Join our parent session on January 16, 7:30am - 8:30am in the Chicot cafeteria. The topic is Mental Health. We will learn about the importance of prioritizing mental well-being and how to cultivate emotional balance in our daily lives. Don't miss the opportunity to connect with a bilingual therapy service! Take care of your mind, strengthen your well-being! This session will be in Spanish. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

Parents,
We are making a change to the food distribution. Starting on Thursday, students picking up a box need to come with an adult. We've had reports of students throwing food out of their boxes on the street. Food is expensive and many people need the help. We will continue to offer this service every week with this new change.

Join us at the MLK Marade! LR Community Schools is marching next Monday. Participating students need to meet at Interstate Park. Arrive at 9:00 am and ask for slot #55.
We are encouraging parents to pick up their children at King Elementary, which is the end of the Marade route this year. King Elementary will also be having a family-friendly party immediately following the Marade.
LIHEAP application is open!
CADC is accepting applications for LIHEAP assistance. Please review the income eligibility chart.
You must provide the following when applying:
-Proof of income
-The social security numbers of all household members including minors
Birthdates
-Proof of Identification (Driver's license, State issued ID, Military ID)
-A copy of all household members 18 and over social security cards.
-Copy of both electric and gas/propane bills. FINAL bills cannot be used. ( If the bill is final; you will need to include a current lease for your current residence and new account information.)
