Good Morning Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to announce that Chicot Elementary School was awarded the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant and will once again host the 21st Century Summer Program for selected students currently in Kindergarten through 4th grade.

This FREE summer program will provide students with academic support and exciting enrichment activities such as art, dance, gardening, computers, robotics, STEM activities, photography, soccer, and much more. Click here for the link.

Program Hours:
8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Program Dates:

* Thursday, June 11, 2026
* Monday, June 15 – Thursday, June 18, 2026
* Monday, June 22 – Thursday, June 25, 2026
* Monday, June 29 – Thursday, July 2, 2026

Please note that the program will operate Monday through Thursday only. There will be no programming on Fridays.

Bus transportation for the 21st Century Summer Program will be provided in the morning and again at 1:00 p.m. if needed. Please note that transportation may not be available during the first few days of the program due to the timing of the grant award.

The City of Little Rock will also have a summer program site at Chicot. Students may attend the 21st Century Summer Program and then transition to the City of Little Rock summer program afterward. Please contact the City of Little Rock if you have any questions about the City of Little Rock Summer Progrmam. Click here for more information.

Space is limited, and unfortunately, we cannot accept every student who applies. Students who are selected will receive an acceptance letter. Students not selected will be placed on a waiting list.
