Outsiders day was a total success! 🔥
Our 8th graders showed up ready to rumble (peacefully, of course) as Greasers and Socs to celebrate S. E. Hinton’s classic The Outsiders. From leather jackets and slicked hair to preppy polos and perfect smiles — the vibes were strong and the energy was even stronger.

Our 4th and 5th graders learned about the meaning behind Hispanic Heritage Month and the traditions of Hispanic culture from our guest speakers, hosted by the FHSA Culture Committee. Students asked very thoughtful questions and gained insightful information!

Learning Beyond the Classroom!
Our FHSA EAST students are taking their creativity to the next level through Digital Photography Foundations! Students are gaining hands on experience with camera settings, exposure, composition, focusing techniques, and lens selection while learning how to create more impactful photographs.
We love seeing our students build real world skills, explore their creativity, and turn their ideas into something they can share with their community! 🦅💛💚

Did you know that Central, Southwest, Parkview, and West High Schools all have a tennis team? Get your student ready now by joining the new Middle School Tennis Club! We will kick off the club on Wednesday, October 21st, and do 5 weeks of training at Rebsamen Tennis Center. We will then break for winter and pick back up in the Spring to compete in matches against local teams. Since this is a club, families will be responsible for transporting their student to and from practices and matches.

This morning our girls stayed undefeated and took care of business in their league game… then turned around and DOMINATED the Next Level Volleyball Tournament to take 1st place!! 💪🏐
