Our FHSA EAST students have been working hard as they prepare for the EAST Conference next week! 🎉 As part of their preparation, they put their creativity and teamwork to the test by designing and creating their own team shirts. 👕 They also showed their entrepreneurial spirit by creating and selling grams last week to help fund their conference endeavors. We are so proud of the innovation, leadership, and problem-solving skills our students are developing through EAST. Please join us in wishing them the very best as they represent FHSA next week! 🦅✨

Our FHSA second graders had a special learning experience this week! 📚✨ A park ranger from the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site visited our students and read the book Carlotta’s Special Dress. After the story, students had a great discussion about the book and the important history connected to it. We love opportunities like this that bring history to life and help our Eagles learn about courage, character, and the power of making a difference. 🦅

Attention 7th & 8th Grade Advanced Choir Students and Families! 🎶 Tomorrow our choir will attend Choral Performance Assessment (CPA). Please make sure your student arrives at school in their choir uniform: • Black shirt • Khaki pants • Dark shoes We will leave school at 12:30 PM and return around 4:00 PM. We are excited for our students to represent our school and showcase all their hard work. Good luck, choir! 🎤✨

🏃‍♂️ FHSA Track & Field – Let’s Go Eagle! 🏃‍♀️ All 7th and 8th-grade students who are interested in track are officially on this year’s team! In order to participate in meets, students must attend practice regularly. 📍 Practice Information Practices are held Monday–Thursday from 3:00–5:00 PM at Scott Field, except on meet days. Please make sure athletes come prepared with water bottles, appropriate clothing, and a positive attitude. 📅 FHSA Track Meet Schedule March 16 – JH Titan Relays (7th/Jr High) at Jacksonville High March 31 – Maumelle Jr. Hornet Relays at Maumelle High April 1 – JA Fair War Eagle 7/8 Relays at JA Fair April 7 – LRSD Middle School All City Championship at Southwest High 🚌 Meet Day Information On meet days, students will typically leave campus around 2:00 PM by bus. 🏀🦅 Eagle Pride! 🦅🏀 Our FHSA 4th & 5th grade team brought home 2nd place in the second round of the championship on Saturday! And a big shoutout to our 6th grade team, who also earned 2nd place in their league a couple of weeks ago. We are so proud of our Eagle basketball teams and the hard work they’ve shown all season! 💚💛 Way to go, Eagles!

6th Grade Volleyball Tryouts start tomorrow! 🏐 Tryouts will be Monday and Tuesday from 3:00–5:00 PM. We can’t wait to see our future Eagles on the court! Reminder: Athletes must have a current physical on file to participate, and transportation is not provided. Parents will need to pick up their athlete at 5:00 PM.
