Good Evening Eagle Parents,
We are sending this reminder again due to a recent increase in tardies. It is very important that students arrive on campus on time each morning. Late arrivals cause interruptions to classroom instruction and delay valuable learning opportunities for all students. Your partnership in helping students arrive promptly makes a significant difference in starting the day smoothly and successfully.
Please review the following morning drop-off reminders:
Tardies and Absences:
• Tardy and absence counts have begun.
• Students may begin exiting cars at 7:05 a.m.
• The first bell rings at 7:35 a.m.
• The tardy bell rings at 7:40 a.m.
• Students arriving after 7:40 a.m. will be marked tardy.
Reporting an Absence:
• If your child is absent due to illness or an appointment, please notify our attendance secretary at Latoya.Gray@lrsd.org by 12:00 p.m.
Tardy Check-In Procedures:
• Kindergarten–4th Grade: A parent or guardian must come inside to sign in their child if arriving after 7:40 a.m.
• 5th–8th Grade: Students may sign themselves in and may also sign in younger siblings.
Thank you for helping us build strong routines so our Eagles can be on time, prepared, and ready to learn each day!

To help students prepare, our Final Countdown posters are up in the two main hallways to keep everyone motivated and focused. A huge shoutout to our EAST students, who designed and printed the posters — we love seeing their creativity and leadership in action!
Our students absolutely knocked it out of the park on the Interim, and we can’t wait to see them soar on the Summative!

After days of research and planning, Imagination Zone students have begun building their carnival rides in anticipation of STEM and EAST night on March 10th. They are looking forward to showcasing their creations!

Coaches will send out picture order information for sports teams. Classroom and grade-level order forms have already been sent home, and extra forms are available in the office.
All students who missed fall picture day will have their photos retaken for inclusion in the yearbook. If your student missed fall pictures, please ensure they are present for retakes on February 9th. If you have any questions, please email Laura.Gowan@lrsd.org
