The Atlas Summative is quickly approaching! 📘✨ To help students prepare, our Final Countdown posters are up in the two main hallways to keep everyone motivated and focused. A huge shoutout to our EAST students, who designed and printed the posters — we love seeing their creativity and leadership in action! Our students absolutely knocked it out of the park on the Interim, and we can’t wait to see them soar on the Summative! Let’s go, Eagles! 🦅💚

Parents, 7th-8th grade girls and boys track tryouts will be held Tuesday, February 24th from 3-5 at Scott Field. Please be sure that your physical is up to date and loaded onto Dragonfly in order to participate/practice. Thank you

After days of research and planning, Imagination Zone students have begun building their carnival rides in anticipation of STEM and EAST night on March 10th. They are looking forward to showcasing their creations!

Candy Grams will be on sale this Thursday and Friday for just $1 — a perfect way to spread a little kindness! ✨ This Friday is also $1 Casual for a Cause! Students may dress casually for $1, as long as outfits follow the LRSD dress code. Double the fun, double the impact — don’t miss out!

Our 5th graders are over the moon 🌕 as they explored the phases of the moon using Oreo cookies! Hands-on learning + a sweet treat = a science lesson they’ll never forget! 🍪🚀 From new moons to full moons, our students had a blast learning while having fun! Science has never been so sweet! 💫🍪

Reminder: Elementary classroom, middle school grade-level, fall make-up, basketball, cheer, drill, and volleyball pictures will be taken on Monday, February 9th.

Coaches will send out picture order information for sports teams. Classroom and grade-level order forms have already been sent home, and extra forms are available in the office.

All students who missed fall picture day will have their photos retaken for inclusion in the yearbook. If your student missed fall pictures, please ensure they are present for retakes on February 9th. If you have any questions, please email Laura.Gowan@lrsd.org

Employees will report to work: non-school. staff - 8:30-4:00; school-based staff 8:30-3:30 p.m. Road conditions will be checked again Mon. & families will be notified about the status of school for Tuesday.
