Good Morning Mustangs!!! Ruby Bridges Movie Night, Monday, February 26th!!! Admission is 2 tickets and there will be concessions!!!! Students attending movie night will stay after school and be picked up by 5:30pm. $1 per ticket!!! See Ms. Strong or Nurse Miller with order form and money to purchase!!!

Mustangs in 3rd-5th grades had great discussions over dinner, well actually over genres, during their book tastings in the library this week. Students shared and recorded what made each genre unique and if it fit their taste in reading or not and why.

Good Luck to our McDermott Elementary Mathletes! Today we compete in LRSD's Mathletes Challenge at Henderson IRC!!

We had a great night sharing literacy skills with our families and then listening to our community share about how we can grow as a district too. Thank you to all who helped make it happen!

We had so much fun crowning our 2023-24 Teacher of the Year at our Monday Morning Meeting! Ms. Hayes, your students and our school are so thankful for all you do to help our Leaders grow!
