On Saturday, March 15, the Oscar Washington Jr. Education Fund Awardees from Little Rock Southwest High School Sydney Arrieta and Cohen Hughes gathered with the other awardees for a session on how to be successful in college and receive a computer, tv, and Echo Dot. There will be a banquet on Friday, April 25, 2025 where they will be recognized. Each awardee receives a $1500 scholarship.

🏆 Little Rock Southwest High School DECA Marketing students had an outstanding showing at the State Career Development Conference in Hot Springs! Kaitlyn Braswell, Kayla Caldwell, Omarai Williams, Sapharia Dobbins, and Deonta Mitchell each received a medallion in their respective events. Jonathan Worrell placed 2nd in the state in Human Resource Management, earning a glass plaque and a spot at the National Conference in Orlando, Florida.
