The annual flu clinic at Central is being held October 20 from 1-3pm and is for Central students and staff. Consent forms are being sent home this week with students. Students who did not receive a form from their English teacher may get one from the front office or the nurses. They will need to be signed and turned in to the nurses by October 15th.

GAME DAY GUIDELINES
Student Admission
• LRSD high school students attending their home school’s game must present both an LRSD Student ID and a ticket for entry.
• Students from other K–12 schools (inside or outside LRSD, including elementary, middle, and high school) must be accompanied by an adult (21 years or older with valid ID).
• No refunds will be issued for minors attempting to enter without an adult.
Game Entry Guidelines
• No entry will be permitted after halftime.
• No refunds will be issued for late arrivals.
• Ticket sales will close at 4:00 PM on game day. This allows security and police staffing to be properly adjusted for crowd size and safety.
Clear Bag Policy
All attendees must follow the LRSD clear bag policy. This policy is designed to increase safety and speed up the entry process.
• One clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12".
• One clear, one-gallon plastic freezer bag (Ziploc-style).
• One small clutch (no larger than 4.5" x 6.5") for personal items.
• Medically necessary items will be permitted after proper inspection.
• Phones, cameras, and binoculars may be carried outside of a bag or case.

🎉 Just in — even more amazing news for LRSD’s own Coach Aaron Butler! 🏆 On the heels of winning Arkansas Coach of the Year, he has now been named National High School Girls Head Coach of the Year by the National Wrestling Coaches Association! Coach Butler continues to raise the bar for student-athletes at Little Rock Central High School and across the state. We are incredibly proud of this well-deserved national honor! 👏
🎉 We’re proud to celebrate two amazing LRSD graduates who were recently honored as 2025 Champions of Youth by Pulaski County Youth Services! 🌟 Tim Campbell, a Central High grad, has dedicated his life to empowering youth and transforming communities. Rosalyn Middleton, a Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School- LRSD graduate, now serves as a Senior Assistant Attorney General, using her legal expertise to impact education policy, justice, and mentorship. 🎉 Several Central High School students played key roles in a moving naturalization ceremony held at the Clinton Presidential Center last week, where 38 individuals became new U.S. citizens. 💫 The LRCH Air Force JROTC presented the colors to open the ceremony, and Student Council members warmly welcomed the new citizens by distributing American flags — a gesture that brought smiles and waves of appreciation. 💙 Thank you to our incredible students for representing LRSD with pride and respect during such an important and inspiring event!

🌍🔬 10 students from Central High competed at the International Science & Engineering Fair in Columbus, OH — the world’s largest pre-collegiate science fair with students from over 60 countries! Huge congratulations to Aakash Bhattacharyya for earning 4th place in Computational Biology ($600 prize) and to Yogi Patel, who received a full scholarship to Missouri S&T’s science camp and a $1,500 award! 🏅👏 All of the students who went represented LRSD and Arkansas with excellence! 🖤💛
