Good evening parents, We wanted to follow up with you regarding an incident near our campus today that did not have anything to do with our school. A man was near the campus behaving strangely and refused to leave. As a result, we went on temporary lockdown while Safety & Security detained the man until police could arrive. Police took the individual in the custody without incident. At no time did the individual threaten any of our students, but because he refused to leave, we followed our protocols to ensure the safety of our students and staff. We are appreciative of our Safety & Security team and LRPD for their quick response. It takes all of us working together to keep our students safe and I appreciate the support that you provide to Bale every day. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
