Good Afternoon, LRSD Families:
Offices will be open, but LRSD schools will remain closed tomorrow, Friday, January 19, 2024, due to conditions and plumbing issues resulting from back-to-back days of freezing/below-freezing temperatures. Many of our campuses were impacted. LRSD’s administrative and maintenance teams assessed damages today and found issues that will require ongoing maintenance and repair over the next few days.
Understanding the challenges posed by the recent weather conditions, we anticipate that the rise in temperatures will contribute to the improvement of roadways. To ensure staff safety and well-being, twelve-month employees should report to work at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, January 19th.
